India is set to become the global epicenter of artificial intelligence as it hosts the India AI Impact Summit 2026. Scheduled to take place from February 16 to 20, 2026, at the iconic Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, this summit marks a historic milestone as the first-ever global AI summit hosted in the Global South.

Under the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the summit aims to move beyond high-level discussions into "demonstrable impact," focusing on how AI can serve humanity through three foundational pillars: People, Planet, and Progress.

How to Register for India AI Impact Summit 2026

Registration is mandatory for all attendees, including delegates, industry professionals, and media.

1. General Delegate Registration

Interested participants can apply through the official portal: impact.indiaai.gov.in/registration.

  • Step 1: Provide Personal Information (Name, Gender, DOB, and Contact Details).

  • Step 2: Upload a passport-size photo (350px x 350px) with a white background and official attire.

  • Step 3: Fill in Professional Details and wait for the verification email.

2. Media Accreditation

The government briefly reopened a final 48-hour window for media registration, which concluded on February 13, 2026. No further media requests are being entertained at this stage to ensure security protocols for visiting heads of state.

3. Global Challenges (AI for ALL, AI by HER, YUVAi)

Youth (13-21) and startups can still check the status of flagship challenges. Winners receive awards up to INR 85 Lakhs to 2.50 Crore and the opportunity to pitch to global investors during the summit.
